Our principal objective is to maintain the traditional processes of production used for hundreds of years in rural Brazil . We are a group of 30 old fashioned professionals who appreciate the good things of the past and have interest in maintaining them for our, and your, future. The town of Monte Alegre , in the State of Minas Gerais , provides the climate to produce the best quality sugar cane.

In this setting the Fernandes family, with the help of their friends, began producing premium cachaça. Most of the 11 brothers and sisters participate to make sure that product quality is up to our standards. To this end some of us invested in the planning part of the operation, others concentrated on construction, equipment and, principally we all learned to compliment our traditional knowledge with modern scientific methods of production. The local community was supportive. Job creation is important in our country and we recognize our responsibility. Our employees are all heads of families and the distillery provides significant resources to improve the quality of their lives. In return we have a dedicated workforce, interested in helping us reach our objectives.
